Are you 100% sure where you are going when you die? Here is how to be saved according to the King James Bible.
Step 1
Recognize You Are a Sinner
God's Word is clear — every person born into this world is a sinner in need of a Saviour.
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. — Romans 3:23 KJV
Sin has a price — and that price is death. God is holy and will not allow even one sin into Heaven.
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. — Romans 6:23 KJV
Step 2
Understand That Jesus Paid Your Debt
Jesus Christ is God, who came in human flesh, lived a sinless life, was crucified, buried, and rose from the dead three days later. The only thing that can wash away your sin is the blood of Jesus Christ.
"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. — Romans 5:8 KJV
Step 3
Understand That Works Cannot Save You
Salvation is not earned — it is a free gift from God. Baptism, church membership, and good works cannot save you.
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." Ephesians 2:8–9For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. — Ephesians 2:8–9 KJV
Step 4
Repent and Call Upon the Lord
Be sorry that you are a sinner and, by faith, call upon the Lord Jesus Christ to save you.
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." Romans 10:9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. — Romans 10:9 KJV
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:13For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. — Romans 10:13 KJV
A Testimony
Do Not Wait — Today Is the Day of Salvation
Hear a man who survived being burned alive tell how God saved him. The fire he lived through was terrible, but the Bible warns of a fire far worse — one that never ends for those who die without Christ. You are not promised tomorrow. Do not put off the most important decision of your life.

"Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth." Proverbs 27:1Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth. — Proverbs 27:1 KJV
"And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire." Revelation 20:15And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. — Revelation 20:15 KJV
"Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation." 2 Corinthians 6:2(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.) — 2 Corinthians 6:2 KJV
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:13For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. — Romans 10:13 KJV
A Sinner's Prayer
Dear God, I am a sinner with no hope to save myself from eternal hell. I believe Jesus is God, who died for my sins, was buried and rose again the third day according to the Holy Scriptures. I believe and trust by faith on your perfect work at the Cross. I thank you for saving my soul, I pray in Jesus Christ's name, my personal Saviour, Amen.
The prayer does not save you — it is the heart belief in the Lord Jesus Christ that saves you.
